Whats the best way to check them they look ok. And when I torque the engine there is no banging.

 

Have someone start the car and shift the car into reverse while you look at the motor mount areas. You may hear a clunk, look for movement like the engine block moving away at the rubber mount, at the moment the car is shifted into reverse. Since you stated there was vibration, you should see the engine block also vibrating when shifted to reverse.

 

Check your front torque mount. Mine shakes in reverse and I am going to change it out next week. Might want to put some mount inserts to stiffen them up.
