Default D16Z6 supercharged overheating...Some input needed.

Guys,

I have a D16z6 with JR supercharger pushing 8psi. It is overheating on the track with I was pushing 6-7,000 rpm for 10 minutes+ of hard driving. But, temputure drops back to normal when I drive it normally.

Coolant splashed out from the coolant tank. No signs of white smoke from the exhuast and no water mixed with the oil. Car drives fine on local & highway with AC and traffic. It seems that the compression and exhaust gas blown the head gasket. Can someone tell me what causes it and how to prevent this in the future?

I had the whole engine rebuilt 2 years back with new OEM pistons, resurfaced head with port and polish on the intake side. 3 degree valve job and OEM metal head gasket and ARP studs. I also have a Koyo radiator with high pressure cap (half size radiator). It is tuned with S300.

I really want to have it build reliably. I only put less than 30k miles with 5 track events since the last rebuild. I want to know what causes the problem. What I can I do to prevent the issue. Would an oil cooler and LHT intercooler help?

Any input is appreciated.

-Alan
