So, I have an EF with a full throttle bog issue. Searched forum found a bunch of reasons it could be. Heres what i know, happens cold or warm, went to replace TPS but i think is riveted on IDK. When the bog happens its precisely after 90% throttle i can lift and feels like VTECH push all the way again and bogs. I seriously doubt its a fuel prob just changed fuel filter and sea foamed so im leaning towards TPS or something like that. any thoughts? Also forgot i took out the top butterfly but it did the bog before i did that the butterfly was moving too slow for my taste car runs awesome till 90% throttle and above.

 

Maybe your just expecting too much from a DPFI civic, you know they are pretty slow.

 

yea i have 90% needed to do a mini-me swap I'm just waiting to move in our new place with a garage but i know that the motor shouldn't do this and it just bothers me

 

swap the tps. I have the same problem. i havent found one yet
