hey guys i need some info an help .... im doing a f2b all motor build in my eg hatch ... im stuck on which camshafts i should go with for my f20b ... bisimoto stage 3 cams or skunk2 pro 3 cams????? which one is the best of making good hp on the dyno ???

 

Good luck getting specs from Bisi. I called and asked about there Level 1, wouldn't give me any details.

If your choices are between those two companies ONLY, skunk2, hands down.

Whens the last time you've seen a bisimoto b series cam dyno?? Never.
Whens the last time you've seen a bisimoto b series cam posted up?? Never.

You might gain 22whp like the header(rolls eyes) but it'll be highly unlike that you do. Bisi may make great things for the d series.. but i myself haven't seen anything for b series cam wise thats been impressive.

I once had alot of time for Bisi and his products but he seems to market very well but in the end there is no real world results to back his sales claims.The F20b your using would have to be a very good engine to want such a cam as a Pro3 or whatever Bisi wants to sell you,I for one would post up your engine spec's before asking about cam choice between the 2 you asked about.

 

The Bisimoto products I have seen and used have been great. As for the cams, I havent heard of anyone using them. Id like to see how they perform.

 

His products are good, look at his headers and how well designed they are. You can tell he spent alot of time working on it. That is true there isn't any dyno charts and there should be. If you look back at alot of the cars bisi built, they are D,F, and H. I wasn't saying Bisi is the best, but his cams do compare with Skunk2. I personally would buy the Skunk2 cams because I don't like Bisi's customer service and he didn't have much room to make great cams for the B-series, because there already was great cams. I think someone should just do a dyno test, because that is the only way to tell.

 

You do realize Bisi's header lost over 20whp in the mid range to a dented up $150 hytech small tube replica header right, and it only beat it up top by like 5whp..?

 

Not talking about the b-series header. I didn't even know he made b-series headers, thought just D and F/H headers.

 

DDTECH cams > skunk2 cams > bisi cams

 

bisi's products are designed for SHOW, not for peak performance, while you may see gains from using something like his headers, you wont see the best gains possible.

That sounds like a "peak" performance to me. It's definitely wasn't designed for midrange.

 

So the pistons and rods are custom made units or are they shelf items?

 

Lol bisi is a joke. They're forums and dyno sheets are a joke too. Any posts debating their results they ignore the questions/statements and delete them.

As well as having answers for nobody on here except for "its scientific" which we are tired of hearing.

the dyno thread showed that a cheap $150 replica header beat the Bisi header when it comes to overall power output. To get peak performance out of a vehicle you need to have power at the engine RPM's you are using while racing, not just a high peak HP number at a specific RPM. This is why you often see cars with less peak HP winning races
