i own a civic 05 si or most know as EP3 .. and im not happy with the AEM cold air intake.... and am looking into the mugen air box or the power chamber from passwordjdm .... any suggestion???

 

If you're unhappy with the cold air, you will be more unhappy with those other two intakes

 

SHG_EazyE did some testing and iirc, the Mugen airbox lost power compared to an OEM airbox with a different filter. it may have been gutted thoguh

 

idk but most people in japan uses airbox i guess its really good
and from what i heard gutted OEM airbox with K&N filter versus mugen airbox are pretty much the same in dyno testing

 

this guy uses a mugen airbox so i guess its better for racing compare to CAI

if not im gonna attempt to mod my stock tubing to get colder air(buying a new airscoop or diy one)

I own a mugen.. and all I have to say... Is why would Mugen put all the R&D into something that doesnt provide gains all sorts of levesl.. They wouldnt sell it thats why...

and are you sure evan tested a mugen? I thought it was the gutted oe box.. I also heard theres more gains from the cai..
