Default 1992 Accord wont start after swap

My 92 accord was sitting for about a year before I put a new motor in it. The motor that was put in has good compression. The motor cranks but it wont start. I know its getting spark and fuel to the rail. When I take out the spark plugs there's no smell of gas at all. Im thinking the injectors are not opening. I thought this might be a Mail relay problem but im not getting a CEL code 16. The CEL is not on so that rules out a lot. Timing is also fine.

If I test the voltage from the injector harness what voltage should I be getting? and is it still possible to have a bad main fuel relay with not CEL on? thanks!

Straight swap, or is this a different motor than what it came with OE?

Checked the main ground, correct.

Possible ECU problem also. That's what controls the injectors. As above poster asked is it the same motor being replaced?

JDM F22A, swapped the USDM wire harness and fuel rail to make it the same as the USDM setup. The main ground is correct. If there was an ECU prob wouldnt I get a CEL?

ecu's and main relays don't just go bad when you swap a new motor in and try to start it.

If it's cranking but not starting there should be fuel smell. Why would you need to swap the wire harness if you put in a new motor? Where did you swap it from ? Perhaps somethings not plugged in.

JDM F22A it had an internal coil setup, so a swapped the dizzy, ex. coil and wire harness to keep the USDM original setup. The car was sitting for about 5-6 months before I swapped the motors. Theres currently no fuel getting to the cylinders but there is fuel all the way at the rail, this leads me to believe the injectors are not opening, but IDK what would cause them to not open or close. The radio and passenger window dont work either.... but they did before. With no CEL's and fuel to the injectors im kinda lost as to what could be causing the injectors to not open and close....

There is a link to changing from internal coil to external coil, you can just reverse that and put your wiring back to the way it was.

OK so I figured out Im getting a code 16 so I just replaced the Main relay but that didnt solve the problem. Something is not telling the fuel injectors to open and close. I read a few threads of people having the same problem after there car was sitting for a while but they never got a response or solution to the problem. Is it possible the resistor box went bad?

I am doing a swope engine 99 accord to my 93 accord, so it's f23 in to a 93 accord. It looks like the motor mount is not lined up and the axles, do you have any information on how I can install it or what I can use or what parts I should get. Please contact me my email is Menaturbo@yahoo.com please soon because I already have the motor out of the car and thats my only transportation. Thanks

Is it possible the resistor box went bad or failed?

Tested the resistor box and it was bad, changed it but still nothing.... Tested the Dizzy seems as though the Coil and ICM are shot.... Dont want to start throwing money into a fire pit. The coil doesnt affect the control of the injectors but does the ICM?

Replaced the Dizzy and ICM and that didnt do it. Harness looks fine and if the computer was toast I would get a code zero... running out of options here

does it backfire at all when your cranking it?

do you hear the fuel pump priming when the key is turned? does it turn off?

is there an alarm system or immobilizer?

i found out my computer was fried when i removed it. unscrew the four screws that hold the cover plates on each side. search for burns

Does it start if you spray ether into the intake?
Plug wires crossed, timing off, any of the obvious things out of whack?
I ask because I let mine sit for 2 months trying to get it started when I realized my coil wasn't even plugged in. Sometimes you might forget about the small stuff when it doesn't do what you want and just look for the hardest thing it could be

As previously said before, Its not getting fuel past the injectors but it gets fuel to the rail. There is no alarm or immobilizer. If the computer was fried there would be a code.

What you can do is listen if the injectors are clicking fast like its suppose to. If not, you know they're bad. Otherwise, OHM test them.
