Default got a quick ecu question bout m new k swap....
Well I just got a k motor and trans out of a n 03 ep3 and was wondering if I can use the Ecu out of an 05 type s....

The motor will be going into a del sol but I'm not to familiar with k swaps just yet....

you can use the ecu from a type-S you will just need kpro.

then again I haven't really checked to see if they have base model calibrations...

Sorry spaz but 05-06 ecus can't be used for kpro. That's why us 05+ guys always gotta spend extra for the 02-04 ecus. And yes hondata does have base basemaps.

so then pretty much im looking for a 02-04 ecu to run with my swap...

Yes pnd is out of a base prb is type s. Prb has reverse lock out sp if you ever want to ise a 6 speed tranny its the one to get but other than that once kpro'd it doesn't matter.

Check out hondata.com it tells you what ecus can be used and the features of Kpro.

so this is the ecu i got was told it was off an 05 type s but is a\has
prb on it does that mean its compatible with my motor????

The last letter numbers A13 =2005-2006. A13-A16= 2005-2006 ecu.

For 2002-2004 prb ecu look for A01-A12 & 305 . All this info is @ hondata website.
