Default Apexi WS2 Exhaust

I am looking to get a full cat back exhaust for my EK hatch. I have a B16a2 with just an Injen SRI. Would it be a good investment? I know that I cant expect any gains really but eventually (Within about a month or so) I plan on getting a set of headers as well. Will go with a 4-2-1 and an AEBS intake manifold. once the engine is due for an overhaul I plan on going with CTR pistons, forged rods, cams and cam gears. Nothing too flashy.

Anyway, would the WS2 exhaust be a good investment in the long run? The car is a toy and I do not daily it.

It's a great daily use exhaust, subtle yet nasty when needed, but it depends upon what you want to do because of the fact that the piping diameter is a bit smaller for daily use and sound, not for race conditions unless you get its universal muffler and do the piping yourself.

I've got a WS2. I can't say anything about the power but it's got a great sound and it's well made (lasted 6 years at northern latitudes and no rust so far).

When I need a new exhaust, I'll be getting a WS2 turbo muffler and custom 2.5" piping. The only problem is that the 60 mm piping steps down from most good headers, which have 2.5" collectors.

I figured that a 2.25 diameter inlet would be better for the B16. At least that is what i read somewhere on Honda-tech.

pft. says butt dyno. unless you can prove it id assume that only the quieter sound makes you think that you lost some power.

also 3 in. everytime all the time for the piping.

so you are saying that it is all in my head that my straight through design has the same flow as a Apexi WS! if you say so.. 3" piping to a WS exhaust no flow problems there. thumps up
