Anyone with advice for my LS project!!!????
Im just starting an LS build and have been told many diffrent directions to go. Anyone have some advice on if I should go turbo or vtec. Personaly I have always loved vtec more then turbo but I have been told that doing both will cause timing malfunctions. Would I be losing alot of power without turbo and running vtec and itb's. Or should I just forget the vtec and go turbo with low boost on a moderatly stock engine. Basically im looking for adviced on how I should go about this build and what I am gona need to go in either direction. Id really apperciate anyones help.
Best advice I can give is just to do a lot of reading on the form.
Second best is to decide what kind of money you want to spend and what kind of power goals you have.
Niether build is cheap, but you'll definitely get more bang for your buck with a well-executed turbo build. You can turbo the LS no problem, but there's also no problem with turbo-ing an LS-VTEC build. It all just depends on your goals and how much engine building you want to do.
Both builds are also notoriously cranky/unreliable if done incorrectly, so make sure you have a good plan in place before you proceed.

Thanks for the advice would it be better to start an ls tvec turbo build, with a turbo kit , vtec or upgradeing the internals. I have also heat that for vtec and turbo builds you need to use diffrent sets of internals for both but what should I do if im plnning on running both???
