Default civic si rims (09-11)

Looking to paint my rims (except leaving center cap alloy finished) black...

have a metal metallic gray fa5... curious if it would look good or hideous.

Any other color suggestions? haven't been able to find any pictures for this color, everyone does a black on black finish with the red centers...

any pictures?

I'm not into the dark wheel's myself, I think painting a great looking wheel black is stupid.

I do like dark grey with a brighter wheel like silver, but I do stay far away from chrome, any car I buy I always change the wheels.

These wheels were on my 03 when I got it

I prefer this wheel color with dk grey

I'm interested in painting my 2007 Si stock rims. What type of paint you use to keep from chipping/corrosion?

Any enamel paint will work, but if you want them to last, get them professionally powder coated with a good electrostatic applied primer.

I found a great match for factory wheel color, I have used the silver and the compitition grey, and clear coated over the top the wheels came out looking very close to factory.

Pep boys has it, it's made by Dupil Color, the can is bigger than the normal small spray bombs and will do 2 sets of wheels.

I think it depends what color is the car, I like the carbon bronze like the hfp rims or the gunmetal like the tl type s rims. But the 09 SI rims have the shine to it, I think they are nice like that, I have the 07 SI's and I wish they were shiny like the 09s

I prefer the old style Si wheel to the new one myself, I would like to get a nice set for my 12 and store my wheels and tires for when I sell the car.

The 07 si wheels would look better if they had shine to them like the new ones, however the new one look kinda like the rims that come on the regular ex so in that aspect I too prefer the older ones that I already got cuz they are original
