1995 acura integra gsr brake light problem
hi ppl i really need some help here i would really appreciate it if someone helps me out thanks.....my dc2 is wired tucked so i dont have to worry about the under the hood fuses cuz i dont have a under the hood fuse box...i checked under the dash fuses and theyre all good,my tail lights, signals, and emergencys turn on accept my brake lights....the only problem is that i changed my stereos after i did the change my brake lights stopped working what could be the problem?...
That's a pretty good one... I think what the problem might be, is when you had your new stereo installed, a connector MAY have gotten un-hooked. Did the lights work after the wire tuck? Or did they only stop working when you had the stereo installed?
This is all I can come up with for now... Hope it helps!

Then the only thing I can think of is that somehow, during the stereo installation, a wire was nicked or a connector un-plugged... If that's not the case, then I'm I'm not sure what to tell you...
do you think it could me the brake switch cuz i checked the stereo already and nothing is wrong.....do you think it might be the light bolbs?
Check the brake light switch, if you do not have a test light or meter, unplug the switch and use a jumper, [paperclip] to jump the connector, [white/green and green/white] if brake lights work, replace the switch, if not you will nee to test for power on the white/green lead and if no power, recheck fuse 42 -20A in wherever your engine bay fuse box is now, do not just eyeball the fuse test it or replace it with a new or known working one. 94
