i.m a auto tech.mostky brake and front end work. my dauthers boy friend has a 91 civic 1.5 hb. the cam locked up and broke the timing belt. so we got a differant head and had it done replaced the belt and set the valve lash. now we have no spark from dist. checked fuses and we have power at coil but no spark and fuel pump not coming on. i seen a post about the main relay but can,t seem to find it under the dash.we also try a differant dist. but it had a differant plug than ours with 2 blue wire that we did not have. but john who ownes the car said they were because his did no have a factor tac. and other car did. now we with test wire at dist. we can get cooling fans to come on and when touching a whith wire with blue strip we get spark at one spark plug wire, that rotor is pointing at. i don,t semm to know whats is going on as we have compessan and are in time. just no spark from coil. we had tryed a new coil but same thing. so we tryed differant dist. as all the no starts i,ve worked on seemed to fix. i really need to get running cause john has been useing my old ford truck and it is hard on gas and wife just got a 07 civci and wants to put inside. help. if you have any brake or front end Q ask i can help with than.

 

for the fuel pump problem try checking for fuse called alternator solenoid valve, its a 10amp fuse under the dash . If it blows your fuel pump will not turn on.

thanks we got it running was a ground . found it in another post here we now have spark and car started up. seem to runn out of gas. found pin hole in fuel line back by tank,fixed that but car will only start then actes like running out of fuel, we had it running longer with adding gas while running.but act like there is not a caustin flow of fuel we are now hooking up all the other stuff may have to take it to another shop to find out way there no fuel. i will look in other post and see what i fine. thanks for the help could have not got it with out you guys.

 

check your fuel pressure and make sure its in spec. your pump could be going out too or you might another leak in your line maybe.
