Default OEM steelies needing new lug nuts

I need some new lug nuts and after searching I found that the size I would need is the 12mm x 1.5. I wasn't getting a clear answer on what seat the stock rims use though. I found that some people say ball and some say acorn, what confused me was that those are the same thing and others had said ball and acorn are different from each other. So I want to know would it be safe for me to buy an acorn seat aftermarket lug nut in the 12mm x 1.5 to use on the stock civic rims?

You need a ball seat lug for an OEM wheel, and acorn seat would not be safe.

If you want to use aftermarket lugs w/an acorn seat buy these adapter thingy-ma-jigs:

Thanks man, that cleared it up. Are those adapters legit? Has anyone ever used those? I'm trying to find a full set of 16 lug nuts for a cheaper price. All the OEM replacements are like $80 and the aftermarket ones look way better in price and fashion lol

I wouldn't rock those personally, although I've never read or heard anything bad about them. In your case I'd just go used OEM.

Speaking of which, why not buy these? $20 shipped (Set of 20, leaves you 4 left over!)

Here's some OEM Wheel Locks so no one jacks your steelies. $17 shipped (Set of 4 w/key)

Your set man!
