My Integra VS. Deer.
So the other day im all amped because I just installed my b&m short shifter and Blox 490 neo ****, and the fact I just got a Vibrant stealth muffller and the best deal ever on a used comptech header. You couldnt tell me nothing, I was in the grove and my car was getting stuff left and right. So friday night I was driving home cruising about 65 mph and what happens? BOOM! I hit a deer! Came out of nowhere. To make things bad I only had liability insurance. My hood is f'ed, my fenders, the radiator got busted, the passenger headlight busted the radiator overflow, both headlight mounts are broke, and bumper cover is jacked, and it put a dent in my roof. So now im just going to order everything it needs and upgrading to nicer stuff. It needed paint anyway. Any suggestions on places online to get good body parts? Or should I buy a shell so I can have more parts for the money? Parts of me wants everything to be new and other parts think that I should buy a shell.

Ive been thinking about that. I priced one for 1500. Im just scared of buying one and since its been in a few wrecks that it would be hell to line up. This is my daily driver and im coming out of pocket for all of this. I want the down time to be minimal. The jdm front is really tempting me. How long does it take to get one? Ive heard of people waiting a month for one to get here.
It's worth fixing. Looks like a nice car. Just fix what you need to. A JDM front would be nice but if you are on a budget just fix it with regular Integra parts. Nice ride by the way.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. So im most likely going the Jdm front way. Although im on a budget this is my chance to go ahead and do something I think my car deserves. It always gets me where im going and saves me money on gas but it would be nice for it to look its best aswell. I found a conversion for $1200 shipped so that isnt that bad compared to getting all new relacement parts, whats a few more bucks to have the famous jdm front? I will post pictures and info in the paint and body thread with all the steps I take in getting the front done. If anybody has any tips or advice I should take into consideration please let me know. Thanks!
if you do i jdm front, you will need to get a da hood latch cable or hood pins. the USDM hood latch cable it to short.... Also if you go ITR HID then you will need to delete your abs and install new lines, or bend your abs motor a little. The jdm front is more than just slapping it together. please do some research into this.
When i did mine my car ended up down for a couple of months, do to not knowing everything, and me also doing a wire tuck.
Hope some if this info helps.... not to persuade you from getting it. i love mine!

seems your "stealth" muffler is too stealthy...
If my front end got smashed like yours, I would probably do jdm conv too. I mean you're really replacing the same parts either way (front bumper, fenders, hood, lights)
