this is a very good rule of thumb for a stock bottom end. others will tell you to run more power. seriously considering the amount of boost being put in and the power being made, 350 seems to be a nice / happy power level to be at for a stock b16 / b18c1 (gsr). 1 bar is like 14 psi? problem is not how much psi you can run but rather what power on x amount of boost.
i have a gsr with a gt35r. im not going to lie to you positive pressure is 42-43000 rpms. the fact you have a b16 may suggest it will get positive pressure a bit later.
just my two cents.

Only way to tell is dyno tune the car. To large of a turbo for a stock b16 only looking for that power level. your not even in the effeciency range yet or just barely
for a dyno tune i would have to travel to another city which i cant at the moment. i am planning to build my engine thts y i selected a 60mm turbo. but thts gonna take some time?
i knw 1 bar of boost on this turbo is going to be alot of fun.

basically the turbo is a turbonetics 60-1 turbo which is a 60mm turbo. i have a pass this weekend so i was planning to raise the boost to 1 bar for it. a friend of mine tunes it for me
10-12 psi on a gt35r should get you pretty close to the max hp of a stock engine?????????????????????
ill be honest with you from personal experience with a pretty high whp stock long block engine man 350whp if still wanting to drive it on the street, and act like a 16 year old then 350whp is good.
now if at the track lol hmmm ive had my engine making over 550whp@28psi on e85, and this had over 50 passes on the engine before i pulled it for a built block. (the stock short block is still togather).
discipline is the key to holding it togather i went through a few built block because i still wanted to be on public roads and stupid at first, and i sat down one night and was like man this is getting to be to expensive for me so its just the track for me now

wow!!550whp on a stock block? but where i love e85 or c16 is not available. the fuel here maxes out on 93-94 octane.ohh the block i am using is sleeved! but the internals are stock.
e85 is avail everywhere you just needto find a shipper, and order by the drum thats all. i know that a pain in the butt, but it is an option to helping bone stock short block surviving.
revspeed also had a bone stock short block b16 in the upper 500's as well

im not a fan of pump gas (91,92,93) on stock builds most of them seem to wind up in peices man
what state are you in i personally know a shipper that can see about this for you

its really all in the tune. ive seen a b16 last for 7 years on boost and it finally blew up on 28psi with a small shot of spray on a 5-mm turbo. Im going to be doing a very similar setup and im shooting for 400ish give or take
5mm or 50 mm?
@sanman. i dun live in states that's the whole problem. i live in the middle east since 4 years. originally from Canada Toronto. so no race gas for me i suppose
. any other idea for the fuel? like meth?
