Default What are good target AFRs

So still new to the tuning game and I was just hoping to gather some feedback on this target AFR table I made... Any suggestions? Running a T3/T67

Also, what should the afr of a cold car be? Mine starts off at around 12.4 ish and warms up to 15 (I set it to idle at 15)

Edit - I found 12.2 = Safe best power and 11.5 = Rich best torque so Ill aim for around 11.5-11.7

Use the screen print button and an image editor on your pc or download a free software that takes screenshots for you (google).

Display what you want to take a shot of on the screen. Press "Print Scrn" button. Open Paint and Paste. I saved as Jpeg and thats your picture. Host it and post up the link.

anything in boost I like to target around 11.5 just to be safe and just in case you get bad gas. Another thing is find out where your best timing is at and than after you are done take a degree or two out just to be safe as well.

Best advice I can say is don't take advice. Put the engine on the dyno set some stupid a/f ratio like richer then everyone says, get your ignition timing dialed in, then start subtracting fuel and watch HP at that spot. if it starts to loose HP then stop and re add the fuel.

You should not see black smoke when in boost. Once you find the correct A/F ratio that makes the best power, pull ignition timing a degree or 3 that will prevent bad things to happen with bad gas.

Just don't tune your ignition timing maps so aggressive where 1 degree be safe and do a couple degrees off and compensate by slightly more boost.

Great advice! I'll be sure not to take it.

The last thing I want someone doing is taking wrong advice from anyone..I'm not saying my advice is Incorrect, but he said that and my engine blew up.... want to avoid that.

Thomascivicsi - that looks like a pretty mean all motor setup there.

good target AFRs depends on the EGT. The higher the temperature, you should use a richer AFR

honestly i do it opposite of that. I set the ignition timing safe amount of retard, usually around 1 degree per psi then go ahead and tune out my optimal afr. once that is set i go through and add timing a little bit at a time until i dont see any gains in power/torque. at that point i pull about a degree of timing out and viola, good to go.
