Default Looking at a Newer RSX

So today I found a RSX at a car lot for about 5k. 130k on it type S what ever that means. You could look at it and immediately tell it had been wrecked and half *** attempt at fixing it. hood didnt shut all the way little things that bug me about cars but anyways. I got to start it up. Took it a second but it did finaly start. Mighta been sitting awhile no idea. So get it going and god I never drove something that needed axles so bad. They would pop under any kinda hard on or off throttle. The CEL was on. Guy said it was a 02 sensor code but im sure its more to it than that. But it did get up and go lol.Torque monster compaired to my D16 lol. Vtec screams on that bad boy. But with all these issues. Is it really worth it? I mean I can fix it up later on but 5k really? I offered him 3.5 the way it was and he looked at me like im crazy but Its alot of work to get it back into a great condition car. And also you couldnt turn the radio off or down. No idea what was up with that lol. Need some opinions guys I will take pictures of the car tomarrow.

Pics would help and what year is it? It sounds hella busted but nothing that can't be fixed. The radio's fuse can be pulled until you get a replacement. Get the motor, transmission, and CEL codes checked out. If it's good to go offer him 4k. Also does it have 6 gears? It might be a base model that he just slaped a TYPE-S emblem on, not uncommon. Out of everything that you mentioned only the rough start up sounds alarming, this could be a lot of diffrent problems. Maybe it just needs a tune up or new starter or it could be something much worse. Hope this helped and G/L.

I got him to finally accept 3.5 k after I proved to him how much work is involved in it. Then found out he lied about the title its a salvaged title. I walked out. I guess its time to keep looking. But man I have fell in love with the K series.
