Default Very tocuhy gas pedal problem

I have had a automechanic attempt to fix my seriously touchy gas pedal but wasn't able to fix it because he said that something about the throttle was electronicly controlled by ECU and it would have to be brought to a proper tuner. I do have an autronic SMC standalone computer managing my setup.

Does anybody know of a very simple setting I could tweak or turn on or off if I was to connect my laptop to the ECU so the gas pedal acts normal??

I don't have access to a dyno at this point in time but I will in the future when I get the car properly tuned by a pro. Also, why does my motor idle between 2-3k RPM? And when I tap the gas pedal ever so gently in neutral it will go back to a normal 1k idle. It does not start up at a high idle but it does idle high after the gas pedal is applied steadily and let go slowly.

It sucks having these symptoms because I can't control my car very well and have to burn up my tires from a dead stop just so I can get going in first.

Autronic isn't going to throw OBD codes...
Unfortunately, the only guy I know of that uses Autronic is Enzo. enzo-racing.com

My bet is that you need an accel enrichment / threshold adjustment, but I don't know where to tell you to look for that in Autronic. Or, was the TPS removed and reinstalled (somehow re-indexed)?

I love a touchy gas pedal, hard to drive if you are tired because a 1/4" pedal travel and you are revving to 3,000RPM lol. Its an on off switch with no play.

That would be a very accurate description of what I have going on. But, how can I make the gas pedal normal again?

The Autronic SMC ecu definitely does *NOT* have an electronically controlled gas pedal.

The newer Autronic SM4 ecu does have this function.

I can help you if you are still having issues. Take a picture of your ecu and email it t me or post.
