Ever since I got the '06 Accord EX L I had been using Penz. Ultra. The dealership made a mistake and put Penz. Platinum in. Well, I didn't think much of it because I always liked it in the old car. Well, seems like this car likes it better than Ultra! The pep is much better and it reaches highway speed better now. So, guess I'll be hanging with the Platinum. I knew the old '05 seemed to enjoy it, so guess this one does too.

the tech is that 4 out of 5 cars like Pennzoil Platinum more, because of the extra pep!

I put cornoil in my motor once. Gave me 20hp on the butt dyno

 

I honestly don't know why Pennzoil still makes the "Ultra" and the "Platinum" they are both the same damn oils! Either one is better than Mobil 1 and pretty much one of the top tier synthetics on the market today.

Mobil 1 is NOT what it used to be whatsoever.... there is absolutely 0 zddp (zinc phosphate) in Mobil 1 which is a superior antiwear agent needed by a honda motor with the cam/lifter design it employs.
