Oil in spark plug tunnel
Does anyone have this problem?
First thing you need to know before you answer this question is, this is a 340,000 mile engine. I changed all gasket on the valve cover. I change all new spark plugs and wires but yet, there's still a little oil in the spark plug tunnels. My suggestions are:
1. Tunnel has a crack and is letting oil in through there.
2. Gasket seal where the tunnel meet with the value cover is not sealed properly.
Let me know what you think.

There are also 4 seals under the rocker arm assembly. It's not too tough a fix but you'll need to remove the rocker assembly to get at them. There is an ETCG video over in the stickys. It's under FAQ in the first post about spark plug tube seal replacement.
Steve is correct,I just did this last week on my 320,000 LX.Be sure to loosen and tighten the rocker arms in proper sequence to avoild damaging anything. My old lower seals were brittle like plastic and I had to use a very fine screwdriver to remove them, otherwise, its a pretty easy job.
