Default Suspension travel

I have a few questions concerning suspension travel. I have a 97 civic hatchback with koni race and gc 500lb f 650lb r doing road racing. I have read that the eg/ek chassis has some issue with camber. I see some people recommend running stock uca and just lower the car to get the desired camber. Then I would need stiffer springs. If I were to run a stock uca is 500lb enough spring in the front? I am not running any sway bars but a have a 21mm front would that help as well?

I have a set of sk2 pro plus uca right now. would I be ok running the sk2 with the 500lb spring or would I need more? Also would those extended ball joints help with travel when running a aftermarket uca? I am kinda confused at this point hopefully you guys can explain this, I need suspension for dummies.

Suspensions are truely a tough creature to understand.

Things needed to help.
Ride height currently on the car. Generally measured from the jacking points.
Experience level. (very important)
If you are a noob the last thing you want to do is put someone elses set up on your car.
We preach learning to drive the car bone stock first.
This is a trial and error type of thing. It will take some work to find the right set up for your driving style.
You'll swap out springs quite a few times before you get the car to handle how you like it.
There is no one set up works for all deal.
Everyone drives differently.
So start simple and work your way up.

The UCA type has no bearing on how much spring you need to run.
The lower you make the car the less suspension travel you will have.
Then you start to run into problems like your UCA's slapping the shock tower for starters.

So before you continue on a path of trying to find the right answer for your driving style, lets back up a few steps here.
Tell us about yourself and what you want to achieve.

Back away from what everyone tells you that you need to do to make the car do this or that.
This is the time you learn what the car is doing bone stock, and how you drive it.
