Default Transmission ticking noise?

Hey guys I'm not into posting topics to figure out problems but for this one I'd more then appreciate all the help I can get. I have a 03 standard civic and when I have it in gear or in neutral there is a noise. I describe it as a ticking, but when I push the Clutch in then it goes away. Also when I take off or am driving, the higher rpms, the louder the noise. It has become worse in time. Please fire some helpful answers at me. Thanks

sounds like a throw out bearing.

Can be a chipped tooth on the ring gear/countershaft if the noise is through all the gears. It can also be a bad bearing internal to the trans.

if you're at speed and push the clutch to the floor does the noise go instantly away or does it slow down like it's spinning for a bit after the clutch is pressed in?
