91 accord. no rev past about 4000
turbo'd f22b2 block with f22a4 head (did what i had to do to make an engine run) blew f22a4 bottom end previously, no tuned ecu, oversized injectors overfuels the hell out of this if idles too long. but back to the issue, it revved fine before (a4) attempted to swap a4 intake to b2 head and found different, so going to swap electronics, took tps off (carefully removing screws) in attempt to make b2 head work, then noticed exhaust on b2 head different also, put all a4 parts back on a4 head, and put a4 head on b2 block. starts great, idles great (for a bit then richens), zips right up to around 3500, 4000, 4500 (no rythm to this either) then falls on its face. blows black smoke so assumed not lean, turbo is NOT hooked up at this time, have all put back to N/A its a 5spd car so engine doesnt stall. this doesnt do it every time, just 99% a few times i free revved and it went up to 6500 before i let off, it went up smoothly, i believe i have tps back at least very close to oe location with new bolts. no different with tps disconnected. even slow accel still does it (feels like rev limiter) also tried another distributor i had, with no change. any help will be greatly appreciated!! im going to go out tomorrow after work and double check grounds and connectors. i hope this is enough info for you. anything i let out let me know, im alone in this tuner thing, i have nobody in my general area that can help me or has any kind of experience
lol that's really hard to read and even after reading it's hard to understand. You're just jumping around. You got a lot of stuff going on and that could mean a variety of things causing your problems, of which you have a bunch.
Not trying to be a jerk but you should have someone working with you that knows about that stuff. It's kinda hard to forum quarterback something like that.
