How many times can you resurface a head
I have a JG Proseries head on my car right now. Im sure JG already resurfaced it once. Well I blew my B16 motor and am about to swap the head over to my B18a block. Will it be safe for me to have it resurfaced again or should i just swap it over to the new block? The head has about 15000-20000 miles on it and the car has never overheated. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

it depends on how much resurfacing has been done to it or if has been milled before.
one resurface on a pretty much unworn out (machined a few times) shouldnt be too bad

take it to a machine shop, they have books of all tolerances and limits on any head, they will be able to tell you for sure!
