Default brake upgrade questions

Im currently using the 4x100 ek4 brake set up and im looking to upgrade to bigger brakes soon. I want to stay with 4x100 and I also want to keep my 15" wheels.

I'm looking at either going with the 282mm MG ZR 160 discs and ek9/dc2 calipers? I think this will all bolt straight on without any fabrication work at all and is a good upgrade so at the moment this is my first choice. One question I have is do I need to upgrade the rear brakes when doing this?

I also heard about using Legend/NSX twin pot calipers... does this set up mean re-drilling discs or spacing out discs and what discs would I need? Is the difference worth the extra work and money?

My other option is the Meister R 286mm upgrade. I know this bolts straight on and is very good quality etc. but is this option as good as either of the above? I also heard that with this option you defenitely dont need to upgrade the rear brakes as it is all about heat dissipation rather than increased braking force?

I know there's a lot to read and a good few questions but id appreciate any info on this as i want to make the right choice here!

Thanks,
Paul.

I believe Fastbrakes still sells the Wilwood 4-pot 11" upgrade, which will fit under some 15's. Depends on the spoke pattern and wheel barrel. But be careful w/that though...may not fit.

CXfornow you sure you arent rocking 16's? Sounds to me like you bought the 12" bbk like I did:

^^^BARELY fit under my 16's, and they have a VERY forgiving spoke pattern?

When using a 4-pot caliper, the rotor really need to be taller to provide clearance for the outboard pistons. The DC5R was a perfect example where the Brembo package had much taller rotors.
