Wiring up a vtech phone is the best upgrade on the market. Make sure you get the digital headset and when you want vtech to kick hella hard hit the "talk" button. The frequency is strong enough to make oil boil making vtech like a 100 shot of naws. I have a spare one in the garage with a AEM sticker on it making it more like a 125 shot. PM me if you are interested I cut dealz. And a 98 Si? Rarest car on the market. Good pickup with vtech.

He may live in Canada where there is a CDM Si model. If you are talking about the D16y8 in your Si, I suggest leaving it stock. There is not much more power to be had with that motor.

you could do cams, valvetrain, itake mani, throttlebody and a tune but by then you wouldnt be far from a complete swap which would probably be better from the start. you can build a d-series but unless you want to be different its kinda pointless.

This thread is full of fail. Someone please close it.

OP. You have a D16y8 which is a turd or a motor basically anyway you look at it. In stock form with boost the bottom end has problems holding 200+ WHP efficiently. This is the All Motor section on Honda-Tech which means your in the wrong place. Post in the FI section if your trying to make a fair amount of power on this motor.

PM "All MOTOR" for his custom cams and get one of these. That's about the best way to get more vtech.

But honestly, you're probably better off asking the guys over in the Forced Induction forum... They seem to have the fastest cars on this site and could answer your questions better...

Good luck and Godspeed

Epic thread is epic.

VTECH - where all your answers are waiting! OP, your VTECH is slightly outdated. You will want to go to a car store called "Meijer" and pick up their latest model. You can wire a 2nd one into your ECU, then call it from inside your house and it will kick the *** of anyone trying to steal your car when you call the ECU.

That's what they mean when they say "VTECH, KICK IN!"
