Default need help!!! d16z6 in a 90

im having a problem with my car.. i did a swap of a d16z6 into my 90 std hatch... car was running until recently when i run my motor it started stalling while driving.... it cuts out but it you play with the pedal it then can return to running like nothing happened... also at idle now its stalling while running... it will start then you hear it pause and then idle drops and come or cuts totally out... it has new dizzy, plug, wires, tps, new ecu... all grounds are good.. i have no clue whats happening

yes it is... its the issue of stalling is when its driving or even idle ...

Did you replace the dizzy for this problem or was it just new from when you did the swap? How long ago was the swap done?

fuel pump? pressure regulator? do you have enough fuel pressure?

vacuum leak maybe, tps sensor going bad, iacv could be coggled or dirt. deffently check the fuel pressure too.

fuel pressure is good.. new fuel pump... new tps... new dizzy and alternator.. both brand new not rebuilt..... iacv cleaned and tripple checked... swap has been done back in this june... this problem just started in the past week

Compression test it and make sure your making good compression.

Sounds like your distributor is going out or you have a bad electrical connection somewhere. If it was timing or compression or vacuum leaks you would see the problem constant and not off and on. And just because parts are new does not mean they are good, new parts go bad all the time.

ill recheck the dizzy.. but have checked all sensors and things compression is good... but i havent yet had the chance to trace wires yet.... but i does sound like a short somewhere...
