Hi dear
i have 2002 civic ex evreything is fine but sometimes when i start the car it wont turn on and sound weird and shut off but the light and the radio are on so i went to the shop but he said maybe fuel pump and he checked it and clean the idle that was dirty but after that it the same thing . i dont know what to do but first he said that he checked it told me there is a, code showing is 1631 . i dont know ? so i need help to found out before going to the inspection.

It seems to me that your immobilizer is not functioning properly. Have you been to a Honda dealership mechanic, or just some standardized mechanic?
