im thinking of buying a jdm type r but its not registered. some of my friends say its not possible but ive seen it done i just dont know how.

and it doesnt have the original motor idk if that is a big deal cause its turbo.

anyone know how to register it?? and how much it will cost?

 

there isnt a straight forward LEGAL way to do it

but there are loopholes, or different ways to do it
and most who have done are not going to post up on the net
saying how they did it


your best bet is to search around for people who have done it and contact them privately and ask them about it

There really isn't a legal way to do this. VIN swap and register don't register it in King/Pierce County.

Does the car its self have a US VIN stamped on the firewall and body parts? Or is it a JDM Integra (Non-ITR) with ITR parts on it?

 

you should probably never post that on the internet... i know people do it, but telling someone to do it can come back on you!

 

what paperwork did you receive with the car? de reg? was it imported from canada ?

 

Were you the one with the jdm 96 spec at expo?
