CR/bore difference on tuned ecu??
Hey guys..just got done building my b20v yesterday..it drives pretty Kool..chassis is a 91 crx si..haven't gotten on it yet..how long should i wait to beat on it??
Setup:
B16 Head
Skunk2 valvetrain package
Skunk2 Stg2 cams
Stock ports
Skunk2 IM
B20 Block
Eagle rods
CP 84mm 12.5CR
Oem crankshaft
ACL bearings
RMF rep headers
My ecu is tuned for my previous lsvtec setup wit itr piston..same head..n hytech headers..made 196hp/132tq..how safe will i be running wit this tune??dyno tune is a must but i wanna break it in first and mite need new injectors/tb b4 doin so..also..will i be safe wit 91 octane??

Depends how far the last motor was pushed tuning wise. If the last one was pretty much tuned to the limit in terms of afr's and ignition timing then you will run pretty lean.
Do you have a wideband air fuel gauge? If it were me...I would not be running it at all with out having a wideband on it to see what the afr's were doing.
Looking at it...you have increased the bore by 3mm, and the compression by about 2 points from your old block.
I wouldn't be running it right now with out making sure it isn't going mega lean.

dont b20 and ls b18 have the same stroke just different bores. you are most likely running really lean. its just like my motor but mine is stock just with 13.1:1 cr stock bored tho
