Hydro to cable conversion/throttle cable question 98 b16
I have a 98 civic dx and putting a b16a2 with a s1 tranny thats cable obviously my current setup is hydro so how would i go about converting this to work with the clutch assembly. Also what should i use for the throttle cable?
If you really want to convert it they sell kits, but it would probably be cheaper and easier to do what kaiba said and get a hydro trans.
i have the cable and dont have time to buy and sell i just need to get this car running so what kit would i need to complete this conversion i already have the transmission conversion mount.
i just found a 90-93 acura integra oem clutch cable. Is this what i need considering it is a s1 tranny and i have the half shaft and axles out of a 90-93 already

No, you need an actual conversion kit from Hasport or Innovative, and it's going to suck. Seriously, it's much easier to just get a hydro tranny now. Those conversion kits are notorious for having clutch release issues. Besides all that S1 trannys are pretty weak compared to hydro or YS1 cable trannys. You can keep your axles though, you just need to run a '90 - '93 Integra driver's side axle seal in the transmission.
dude stop arguing with people stop being a dumbass, sell that junk cable trans and buy a hydro trans, and save yourself countless headaches
trust me dont halfass it now just to get it done, it will bite you in the *** down the road, do it right the first time or dont do it at all

i dont exactly have the funds to upfront the cost for the tranny, I cant make money without a car, and i already have the cable tranny. I KNOW it would be ideal to use a hydro tranny, however I cannot use one in the circumstance so I asked for helped to convert this not to be told how stupid i sound or seem. I am in a tight place and cant do **** about it.

There's not much to the hydro to cable kit, just a bracket and a piece that connects the slave cylinder to the clutch release fork.

I already have the motor mont kit from innovative, along with innovatives conversion mount so do I already have everything I need? I was just assuming I needed the actual cable from an integra to ingage and disingage the clutch
EDIT: from what I can see, I have the conrrect mounting hardware, however I still have the same concern as listed above about the tangible cable.

Hey man I feel u and stop trying to rezoning with these guys telling wat to do with yo car if u wanna go hydro to cable do it. I did that to my del sol and even if they say it feels better hydro it feel the same shizz with the conversion and if u need more help with it pm me but ok here's wat I did*
Ok I got the "kit" it's just a MOUNT and a BRAKET and 1 BOLT with a PIVET PUSH BOLT THING that's all*
So u put the mount on and drill a hole in the middle of the tranny cable hook thing*
Then u get a slave cylinder from a hydro tranny and hook it up to your normal hydro line then put the cylinder side ways pushing up that's wat the bolt is for and the pipit push bolt too that's all that's how I got my Ls Del Sol as and guess wat it don't feel one dame bit different as a normal hydro car. And this way I can use cable or hydro if I want
*
Go to my build thread to see tho it don't go in to how I made the hydro to cable
Also I can post pics of my tranny just let me know
