Hey guys, I have a standard journal-bearing Garrett t3/t04e turbo. I am looking for a new exhaust housing for it. My current exhaust housing is a Garrett t3 inlet, 4-bolt 2.5" outlet, for a Stage 3 turbine wheel (do they call these T31 housings?)

I am looking for a V-band exhaust housing that is simply bolt-on to my turbo, with 3" v-band discharge preferably. Do they make this kind of exhaust housing ?

Im pretty sure they can machine you one. It will have to be 2.5" vband though. Not that big of a deal though. They make a 2.5" vband flange that also accepts 3" ID pipe. Pretty trick.

 

Best to use a 2.5" 4 bolt to vband adapter.

The only one offered is a .78A/R Divided T3 which has the same effectiveness as a .63A/R T3 overall.

 

Yeah forgot to mention .. my current housing is .63A/R. .. so no housing exists that is .63A/R 2.5" or 3" v-band ?

Where would I get this 2.5" 4-bolt to v-band adapter?

 

Only Precision could provide something even close, but they don't sell the turbine housings separately to the public.

One may have to be made. using a 2.5" dp flange and a 3"v-band with a conical, but.
