Do you mean tranny? Is fluid leaking from the differential where the axles insert? Or from the weep hole between the tranny and engine?

Gasket? You probably need to replace the seals.

between the tranny and motor is a cheap 8 dollar rear main seal gasket but it takes hrs to replace it. it's behind the flywheel and the transmission needs removed... goodluck. if you don't replace it it will go through quarts of oil a day.

One of two seals. Rear main seal (on block, means engine is leaking oil), or input shaft seal (in transmission, means transmission is leaking fluid).

Transmission will have to be dropped to replace either.

First figure out whether the oil is leaking from the transmission or engine. Look for a possible source higher up on the engine (VTEC, distributor, valve cover, oil pan) or from the axle seals.

^That, particularly the distributor o-ring, valve cover gasket and VTEC solenoid. The oil will run all the way down to the bottom.

Otherwise probably the rear main seal, but check the easier seals first.

Clean your engine with degreaser so you can pinpoint where the oil is coming from.
