A friend says he's got a '92 CX that's black and has never been repainted... I've never heard of a black '92 CX. Is it true? He says it's got a CX sticker on the tail gate. I've only heard of white and red '92 CXs...

 

i have the same one...mine is canadian model...its like a charcoal color..i love it and lots of other people do too...almoste looks like a faded black...its unique i think...but id otn knwo the exact name of the color....

 

In America there was NEVER any hatch in black from 1992-1995 except for the Si ONLY.

This is FACT.

Colors for the 1992 Cx hatch are:

Milano Red
Frost White
Phantom Grey (dark grey that most ignorant folks call "black")

That's it. This is taken straight from the 1992 Civic sales brochure.

 

I didn't know they only came in white and red besides my Phantom Grey Pearl. I love the color of my car.

Doesnt the cx come in that green, and blue?; Or is that the vx? I know the dx does, but am not sure about the cx.

1. Tahitian Green Pearl - black interior
2. Paradise Blue/Grren Pearl - black interior
3. Aztec Green - black interior
4. Captiva Blue Pearl - black interior
5. Phantom Grey Pearl - light grey interior
6. Frost White - <FONT COLOR="blue">BLUE</FONT> interior
7. Milano Red - black interior

BUT again let me say that in 1992 - the year which was asked about - they only came in 3 colors listed earlier.



The rarest of all 1992-1995 Civic colors is the Harvard Blue Pearl. It's the really dark navy blue that was ONLY on the DX models.
