white tip spark plugs... normal?
Ok so I decided to check my spark plugs... and the tip where you gap it is grayish/white.... according to my search. That means I'm running lean.....and its grayish/white. on all spark plugs..... the thing is I have a 1998 hx swap d16y5... and its a lean burn motor.. and its swapped in legit running the correct ecu......... since I'm running this lean burn motor.. does that mean that its normal for my spark plugs to show grayish/white.?
a little more info the threads have a black stuff on it... but its not on the tip of the spark plug.. its just on the threads....... o yea i took pictures after i cleaned them so you may not see it clearly
UPDATE.... 2 plugs have very little oil on the washer portion of the plugs... JUST THE WASHER has oil on it

Light tan or grey is normal, your look black, either carbon.
