yea was jw, i just picked up a CD5 and had a j35 sitting in the garage, but dont really feel like putting the work into custom mounts/axles/wiring.

Didnt know if maybe the 6th gen mounts could be used in the 5th gen to put a J into a CD5?

im more or less more worried about axles and mounts, i dont know how to weld so id have to source it out

might just finish fixing this accord and trade it for another civic, then put my J into it, hate having a j35 and 6spd lsd just sitting in the garage!

how come the J is able to fit into the small engine bay of a civic but not an CD5/7?

it's not that it won't (and in all cases doesn't "fit" into a civic) it's just that not enough people are motivated to make it work. if demand for such a swap ever grows enough, we'll start seeing kits for it. until then it's up to the innovators and dreamers.
