hi, guys.. im a newbie when it comes to recaros seats. but i just bought 2x dc2 recaro seats for 60 bucks each. it only came with the cushion and the frame. nothing esle no bracket or slider or whatever. Question is what do i need to get to get them in my car (dc5). ive been told that i can get dc5 rails and it will fit in my car. but the question is are the dc5 rails and the bracket the same thing? or do i need to get a bracket and a rail. if so what does the bracket and rail look like.

 

The rails and brackets are an all in one deal. You just need the oem rails from the DC5 R or an Aftermarket. Make sure it the rails mount from the bottom not the side.

 

what u mean from the sides? im quite a newbie and do you no how much an after market cost? because i believe oem is pretty pricey

Yes, if OEM (most of the time). Bride RO rails will fit bottom mount Recaros and are one-piece (bracket + slider).

If not OEM, then you need sliders with aftermarket brackets. These are usually sold separate.

 

the shop listed here was great they are willing to make me a custom bracket/rails for 100 bucks
