Cant wait for winter
Im all ready for the winter season and looking forward to it so that I can make a couple changes to the car and park her up for a couple months.
List not too long but here are a few things I want to do.
powder coat my white te-37s to a satin black (not flat black)
Do all new stainless steel lines and fittings from to all black nylon hose and black fittings
powder coat valve cover, charge pipes, turbo, radiator and catch catch same finish as the wheels.
Thats about it, I'm sure most of us have projects for the off season list if you wish.

You people are crazy! Why put away a great tool for having fun just because of a bit of white stuff...
The type-r with LM25's is great in the winter! It's less traction in the snow, but it handles so great and predictable, and the suspension gives great feedback. The limited slip differential never leaves me feeling traction-less too.
I've got 152k miles on my '98 and love every summer (now with direzza star specs which are great) but also love the winters!

Garage it? Are you kidding. This will be my first winter with her runnning and a nice change to the rear will driven non-lsd car with summer tires. Finally have a winter tire and the R is going to be my go to when it does snow.
I just dont like the chances of me getting rear ended by an a hole going up a million percent because retards dont know how to drive in the snow. She will be nice and warm and salt free till the spring lol. Will be putting her away at the end of November.
Good Lord! Doing a complete rebuild I guess? mines been down for 5 years and it's about to put me in the looney bin. I've been having an awful itch to drive it but priorities first ya know.
Good luck with your list. I'm sure you'll get it done... And get it done right.
And I don't think it's so much the fear of losing traction or general snow driving that scares ITR owners in the winter as it is the fear of the rust that comes with salting.
