lately ive been really checking the details of my car, it's a 96 ls special edition my parents bought it for me a couple of months ago. i knew it was an LS but i didn't know it was a speical edition. whats the difference between the speical edition and the regular ls? the only thing ive noticed that my side moldings were painted to match my car. is it like the GS? thanks.

do you have leather?. I have a 98 GS. its a gs-r without the motor.... so its like a GS i suppose

 

I have the same exact car and yes it has leather. It is the same as a gsr like said above but does not have the b18c1 motor

 

some gsr's dont have leather

 

Mine is a 96 with cloth. Leather would be nice but i dont miss it. (GETS FRIKKEN COLD HERE IN CANADA EH?)

In addition to what a '96 LS has:

leather seats
GSR 15" wheels / tires
GSR muffler
spoiler
GSR 24mm front sway bar

I know because I have the brochure in front of me right now.

Special addition is a GS-R with an LS engine in it and leather seats.

Glad I got my GSR w/out leather, god are they awful.

Also I didn't think the GSR had a 24mm rear sway bar, I thought it was like 19 or 21.

I thought the ITR was 24mm, I could be wrong though.

He said a 24 mm FRONT sway bar, the GSR's rear sway bar is 14 mm, the type r's is 22 mm. Just a little FYI

 

how come i have steelies? is it supposed to come with 96 gsr wheels? i think the dealer ripped me off. it also didnt come with a cd player, isnt it supposed to have that too?

 

oh yea, mine didnt come with a spoiler. im not complaining about this one since i didnt want one anyway.
