Default precision 5431e billet cea, anyone using it?

earlier today i was on my way to the post office to mail off a compressor housing for ceramic coating when it dawned on me it would be worth asking precision if it were possible to trade up turbos since the 5431b that i had was new. well, with a little talking and some debating i sent back the 5431b which was a v-trim for their new 5431e cea

http://www.precisionturbo.net/produc...--5431E-CEA/58

anyone use one of these yet? curious where they come up and what they do dyno wise

most the testing has been done on the str4. it should behave like a 50tim + a few more hp due to flowing 50/lb min.

I see you posted this three months ago, but ill try and help you out

I have a B16A2 CP pistons, Eagle rods, king bearings, port and polished head with a full supertech valvetrain and GSR cams.

Im running the precision 5431 with a .63 A/R on a ramhorn manifold with 3 in DP and full 3 IN exhaust.

My numbers on 19 PSI were 360WHP with 270WTQ. However my headgasket was failing on the dyno ( exhaust was getting into the coolant system and overheating it ) so my numbers might actually be higher now.

The B16 is bored to 81.5mm and I see the full 19 PSI around 5K RPMs with the VTEC set at 4800 RPMs

Hope this helps

i try to stay far away... too many failures for my liking and precision never wants to replace them... constantly sighting "oil contamination" as a cop out to skip warrantying the units..

I made 417WHP AND 315WTQ with the 5431cea @17lbs

Setup:
B18c1 81.5
9:1 wiseco pistons
eagle rods
B16a2 head CTR cams
SPA cast top mount
3"dp
2.5" IC piping
68mm TB
skunk2 intake mani

switching to e85 and a mini ram this winter and see what i can make. Im wondering how much hp i can take the turbo to.
