so i been having a problem with my car turning on when ever it wants to. i changed the main relay and going to change fuel pump this weekend. last night i drove the car turned on perfect but while driving i notice that everytime i let the gas go the dash lights and clock would dim down like if it was loosing power and once i got in gear and drove they got really bright. i dont know if this may be one of my problems why my car turns on when ever. what do you guys think? why is it doing that?

 

Your lights are dimming cause ur taking your foot off the gas aka taking the load off the motor cked your grounds under the hood and get ur alternater cked out

 

DEF sounds like a bad ground or wiring issue/alt problem. check all ground and make sure no wiring is grounding out etc..

more then likely its a ground wire with the under dash harness.

 

ill check those spots as well im working on the car tomorrow trying to fix everything i can its going to e my daily driver. im justhoping its not the altenator cause i was driving on the free way and the battery light kept coming and going for a bit then just never came back.
