swapped auto cluster to 5 spd. EX cluster and tach doesn't work,no tach signal??
bought a 95 civic dx hatch that blew the automatic D15 motor which was swapped in favor of a 5 spd. D16Z6. auto cluster without tach was left in the car. bought a 5 spd. civic EX gauge cluster off ebay but when I installed the EX cluster the tach doesn't work? are the radio/gauge cluster harness' the same for five speed and automatic? or do I need an automatic cluster with tach? not sure how to get the tach working. Thanks honda fans!

Cluster is either bad, or the tach signal wire is cut somewhere between the distributor and the cluster.
