hey guys ive heard some bad and good things about the blox replacement ball joints. Any word on them good quality or junk. Thanks
If it's just the ball joint, stick with OEM, and if it's never been changed before, it's easier to buy the whole upper a-arm WITH the ball joint already in it.
It's almost impossible to get it out without bending the arm... unless u try to heat it up till it's almost melted and carefully beat it out.

Are you ****ing high!?
I almost spit rum and coke all over my laptop after reading this.
The blox replacment part is likely the same exact qulaity ball joint you have now, crap. Just pure crap.
Either buy OEM arms, or buy a quality camber kit.
EDIT- I guess I am not the only one who almost spit something out. lol

Bushings. Very poor quality bushings, they fail very very quickly. Very few people have actually had Blox bushings last more than a year. Their replacment bushings are just as bad.
In the case of their lower control arms, the bushings are smaller. Meaning, you have very few options as to replaceing them. (only 2, that I am aware of)
Ball joints, just as the bushings, they don't last. They fail apart.
The lower control arms on the 92-95 civic, and 94-01 integra have the endlink holes in the wrong spot. Requring use us of adjustable endlinks, that will still be left at really funky angles.
I wont get started on my Blox endlinks that didn't even last a year.
Does this sound like a good company making quality parts to you?
Of all the companies that make aftermarket ball joints, Moog is the only one I've ever heard good things about. Do they make ball joints that fit your arms?
Did you really just ask that?

Whether the other parts are all bad is debateable, but you can basically guarantee that anything that contains seals or moving parts is not going to be well built by any of these budget component manufacturers. So suspension parts are kind of notoriously bad unfortunately. As people have said your problems are going to be the bushings and ball joints.

I don't mean to all of the parts are bad, but, there have been issues in the past. Some people have had great experience with their products. However, you can't base it simply on that, you need to take all experiences into consideration.
In MY opinon there are far to many negative experiences with Blox products to ever trust them again. Further more, again in my opinon Blox and it's products are terrible.

I guess I just meant, whatever you believe about some of the other parts, the suspension parts are definitely not good!
Yeah, that makes perfect sense to me. Sorry, didn't meen my first statement to sound like I was disagreeing with you, because I agree. I've got Blox A cams and valvesprings and I know they have a reputation for being overachievers, but after mar778c's experience I wouldn't put Blox parts in my engine ever again.

Someone just saying they suck, doesn't go nearly as far as someone who explains a little better.
I never met the person, but, my buddy (who owns shop) was tunning a car when his blox cam snapped. I am unsure of what exact cam it was, but, none the less it snapped. When it snapped, it caused major damage to the head.

As soon as I get new endlinks, I will wipe my hands clean of Blox, and never touch the products again. And to to think, I used to reccomend Blox endlinks.
Weksos offers Blox and MFactory extended ball joints and the MFactory ones are only $20-30 more than the blox units. I'm thinking I will go w/ MFactory or with the ones sold by TireRack. I wouldn't trust Blox w/ something as important as my suspension...
reading>me, didn't even notice upper vs lower. however, SPC does offer an adjustable ball joint for the UCA...at least for the EF chassis they do.
