So i have a 97 civic coupe and the side skirts were black,

a while ago, they were spray painted black, and tomorrow the car will all be painted si blue

so i was wondering since they were already spray painted with black
will that effect the paint that will be on it tmorrow?
should i tell the guy painting my car there is spray paint on the black side skirts or whenever he sands it, will it be ok?

 

yeah you should let the painter know, hes gunna need to lay down adhesion promoter on the bare plastic before painting. Hes gunna need to strip all the spray paint off.

 

ok man, damn i wish i could just switch them up with someone elses side skirts,
