Noise when a/c is off - not when on

Noise when a/c is off - not when on
well...
i was able to get my air condition up ... BUT it makes noise, WHILE OFF ONLY... when i turn it on and the clutch engages, the noise stops and it works flawlessly... why?
definitely, not from the ac idler pulley because i got it BRAND NEW FROM HONDA earlier.

could be the pulley on the compressor
what kind of noise?
also you need to make sure on the tensioner pulley you put the washer on the right way.
