Default My simple 2.5 inch exhaust fabrication

Decided I wanted to fabricate an exhaust for my DB8, mainly because I was bored. I used standard steel tubing exhaust piping and an exhaust bender (crush bent unfortunately). The muffler is a Magnaflow 2.5 inch and I am still using the stock cat for emission purposes. I will be adding a resonator in the future. I did tune the car on S300 after I added the exhaust and intake, but do not have access to a dyno.

Track time results were: (1/8th mile)
10.1 (stock)
9.98 (stock P72)
9.78-9.85 on my tune

The car still has more in it. It's my internally stock Gs-R 4 door sedan full interior daily driver. With a good set of tyres, mild cams and a better header I believe I could cut low-ish 9's.

Nice! just fabbed up a 3" system for my 94 with a B20 in it... a lil overkill I know but it fit great!

Yes I read your thread. I would have done 3 inch but the largest coupler we have to bend piping is 2.5.

How does it sound without a resonator? Is it less deep? Buzzy?

I Do not have a resonator on it yet. It's actually not that loud and it is deep at a lower RPM. After 4k+ it starts to break up slightly and then the VTEC crossover over powers every sound lol.
