Default B18C1 JRSC @ 7psi

Hello guys, I really don't post here to much because when I use the tool search I allways find what I want. This time I was searching some full timing numbers on these type of engines with a JRSC and didn't found what I needed.

I have around 20º at 7psi and like 16.5º at 10psi. I did a 1.2º retard for each pound of boost. Is the first time that I tune a supercharged engine so I'm trying to get as much info as possible. I think I'm being conservative with the timing I would like to know what do you guys think?.

And the other question is, is the B18C1 basemap on crome good to start or not??.

Here you have the ignition tables, low cam:

And High Cam

BTW I'm using 98 RON gasolina is like 93 in US, hope you can help me!! thanks, guys, cheers.

I think 1.2*/psi is probably safe but I would personally start at 1.5*/psi.

Run -1.5 degrees per psi in low cam. You need the lower timing due to [low] RPM and higher dynamic compression.

In high cam you can run -.5 to -1.0 per psi depending on your setup, fuel, etc...

If you are in a really hot climate start at -1.2 in high cam and slow increase timing based on your plugs. If you are in a moderate climate you could start at -1.0.

Ok!!, I wasn't so lost hehehe. I will go with 1.5º of retard on low cam and 1.2º on high cam (because we have some high temperatures on this season of the year!!). Althought I'm running 93 pump gas!! so I think it's ok and safe!.

I´m planning to run close to 12:1 of AFR when I'm over atmo pressure around 13:1 at atmo pressure and then increasing until 14.7-15 on low/medium loads.

For A/F I run high 11's on the street in boost.
Low to mid 12's at the track with good gas.

You are likely good as high as -.7 per psi retard, but 1.2 is a good starting point. You can slowly add timing as you become confident in your tune.

Be sure to watch tip in detonation. You'll want to max out the fuel within the throttle tip in options.
