Hello everyone im back!! lol. Ok heres what we got going on.

1) windshield wipers turn on by themselves when ever they want.

I have read up on this telling me it could be the switch, intermedate unit or the wiper motor itself. has only one had this problem and know for sure what to change before i spend money on unneeded parts?

2) Tonight driving home i noticed my cruise control was not working while on the interstate, so i figured id figure it out when i got home possible disconnected vacuum was my first thought. about 15 min later i notced i had a faint green light on my cruise button. i cut it on light brightened turned it off and faint light again. i rev the motor it went off. Now as i was just pulling in my garage i noticedmy left turn signal was acting really slow and then i noticed my cruise light was flashing the faint light as the dash turn signal went off. it sometimes blinks fast because of a connection in the front right so it works when it chooses which isnt a problem i just havnt had the time to fix it yet.(split wire).

never heard of this problem before any help would be appreciated. Checked all grounds and connections i could while it was hot waitin on it to cool down to run down the harness.

 

if your lights are dimming and get brighter when you rev your engine check your charging system

 

Windshield wiper switch is probably bad

 

1) For your windshield wipers, check your relay and switch.
could have a faulty switch but it could most likely be a bad relay.

2) as goldenchild707 said check your "charging system" aka alternator. but i would check all the fuses first. also dont sit there and stare at them, OHM them out or check for CONTINUITY because some fuses look good but they gone bad.
You could also try trouble shooting the switches.

 

Recheck the ground wires with a multimeter.

 

It wasn't actuall my dash light nor my headlights it was the green light the lights up when the "Cruise" button is pressed in. instead of turning off it just stayed lit very dimly

 

i have a scan gauge also and itas putting out 14+ constant and i work at Autozone and checked everything and it was good as far as charging., Now today on my way home for lunch i was cruising 45 and hit my cruise switch everything was good hit the steering wheel button and it worked. since its still light out i cant tell if its faintly dimming when depressed.
