Dripping on Honda Civic
Have an 06 Reg, Honda Civic iVtec Sport 5 door.
Noticed wet patch under rear passenger door on the drivers side. The drips appear to be coming from the door, there is no dampness inside except drips on the inside panel that the door covers when closed.
Is this normal?

Need better data, is the wetness inside the car? Is the door gasket torn? Is there any damage to the door? Does the window trim seal against rain? When did you notice the wetness, after a rainstorm, or after washing the car? Be specific, please.
There is no wetness inside the car or damage to the car.
The drip appears to be coming from the bottom of the actual door (around the rubber circular black thing) then dripping down on to the outside skirt of the car.
The wet patch can be seen after parking even when it hasn't rained, such as this morning.

Ok, here is an oddball question. Is it really warm over there right now? If so, you could be getting condensation inside your door skins, and they are draining out from the drain holes at the bottom of the door skin. Other than that, I am stumped...
I would check to see if the door drains are open, also some cars are shipped with rubber plugs that should have been removed by the dealer.
the door should drain to the outside just outside the weatherstrip, all cars get some water inside the doors after a heavy rain or washing.

Checked on another forum and found the issue. B
Bee Guz you were right, basically after heavy rain opened the door and heard sloshing from within door, it still had the rubber bungs on at the bottom, upon removal a significant amount of water drained from the door. Left the bungs off and never had an issue since.
But one question , why were the bungs on in the first place? Could permanently removing them not cause future issues?

but why they are put in is a mystery to me, maybe they have problem and want to keep ants out of the doors.
