I bought this header off of a local car forum and not sure what it was originally designed for. Its a B series header and its very long, it comes very close to my exhaust. I will not be able to put a converter on the car unless I modify my cat back or the header.

I do not planning on modifying anything, I am going to build a small test pipe to connect it to my exhaust.

It would be nice if its a B20 header, I will probably be running it on a 1.8 for a little while till I build a b20.

 

I'd beadblast or sandblast that thing and clean it up, thats a ORIGINAL SMSP header from back in the early 2000's era..

They are great headers i have a custom built smsp three inch collector. Great find

 

I plan on cleaning it up and getting it recoated at some point.

I have seen the pics of your header its a nice header, how's the new motor coming along?

 

Slow and high as hell but its just money. hahaha

 

I found out that its an early B20 header. That makes me happy.

You should clean it up and put in in a display case! Might be worth some money one of these days

 

blasting and ceramic coating would do that header wonders

 

Are thoes going on an everyday driver or a racer?

 

Weekend driver and some track use.

 

Sorry to thread jack. I want to buy an authentic SMSP header, but I am having trouble finding SMSP's website. Does anyone know it off hand?
